Idaho and the Death Penalty

Idaho allows the death penalty as an option in cases of first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping.

The sentence is death by lethal injection or firing squad. Firing squad will be used if lethal injection is deemed "impractical."

Minimum age for death penalty: 16 years
