Indiana and the Death Penalty

Indiana allows the death penalty as an option in murder cases which are accompanied by at least one of 13 aggravating factors.

The sentence is death by lethal injection.

Minimum age for death penalty: 16

Indiana forbids the execution of the mentally retarded.
