Kentucky and the Death Penalty

Kentucky allows the death penalty as an option in cases of aggravated murder and in kidnappings when the victim is killed.

The sentence is death by electrocution.

Minimum age for death penalty: 16

Kentucky forbids the execution of the mentally retarded.
