Hockey Dads' Deadly Dispute
In a case that catapulted parental behavior at youth sporting events
into the national spotlight, Massachusetts father Thomas Junta is
found guilty of involuntary manslaughter on Jan. 11 for a scuffle that left
another hockey dad, Michael Costin, dead. He was cleared of
the top count, voluntary manslaughter, but the 44-year-old father
of two was sentenced to six to 10 years in prison twice
the time suggested by state guidelines.
