Minutes after the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah federal
building on April 19, 1995, rescuers dug through the rubble
to search for survivors and recover the dead. In the end,
168 men, women and children, ages 4 months to 73 years,
perished, including a nurse who succumbed to injuries during
the rescue efforts.
