Kidnapped at Gunpoint

In October 1989, 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling was biking home from a convenience store in St. Joseph, Minn., with his brother and a friend when a masked gunman stopped the boys and ordered them to lie face down in a ditch. He sent the other two boys running, threatening to shoot them if they looked back.

When the boys did look back, Jacob and the man were gone.
