John Mark Karr's correspondence with professor Michael Tracey
The Boulder District Attorney's office released 420 pages of e-mails between John Mark Karr — who signed his letters "Daxis" — and University of Colorado professor Michael Tracey. During their four-year correspondence, Karr made numerous references to JonBenet Ramsey and allegedly secret details of her murder. The documents below contain excerpts of those e-mails, as well as Tracey's comments about how he earned Karr's trust.
