Court TV Host: Diane Dimond is here!
Diane Dimond: Hello from Santa Maria, California.
Court TV Host: How many fans do you expect will show up tomorrow?
Diane Dimond: We have no way of knowing. The last time there was going to be a demonstration for Michael only about 20 people came. But it was raining that day. Now, we have this international "caravan of love" expected. And it could be thousands of fans.
Question from ladyblu: Hhow many from music world and Hollywood will attend?
Diane Dimond: I think everyone in Hollywood will stay in Hollywood. It doesn't mean they don't support Michael Jackson. But this is not an event at which stars would appear to show their support. The courtroom is packed. I just learned that I get a seat but extra people will not be allowed in. And they don't want to stand at the curb waiting for him to go home.
Question from Sam: Diane what does the prosecution have that makes them think they have him?
Diane Dimond: They all seem very confident, but what do they have? I don't know for sure. My law enforcement sources say the case is very strong. They've had eight weeks to go over all the evidence they took out of Neverland.
Question from niklin: Are these fans having their transportation paid by the Michael Jackson or his supporters?
Diane Dimond: That has been alleged. But I am told that the buses in the caravans are being donated and that these are enthusiastic fans who are coming because they love Michael, They want him to know that they're there for him.
Question from tantre: Hi Diane, thanks for joining us. Do you think the Nation of Islam will try to push Geragos out of the way?
Diane Dimond: That too has been alleged. But you have to remember there's always confusion about who's really in charge of Michael Jackson. I think Michael Jackson is in charge and it's all up to him.
Question from dave: Hello Diane, how much media information can we really rely on? How can we tell the difference between substantiated information and rumors?
Diane Dimond: You have to listen carefully to the reporters. If they're giving their opinion, that's not necessarily the truth. You have to, as a listener or viewer, think logically for yourself. What is true and what is false?
Question from nurse31: Diane do you have any more info on Michael Jackson's police brutality claim?
Diane Dimond: No. That seems to have died down for now. But that doesn't mean it won't come up again. He obviously had a big bruise on his arm. The question is did he get it in custody? Or did he get it after he flew back to Las Vegas and had that same arm hanging out a half-rolled up window shaking hands with fans>
Question from kiara: Diane, will Geragos' public statement threatening to come down like a ton of bricks on whoever opposes Michael Jackson hurt him?
Diane Dimond: Some court watchers say that was an intimidation tactic. Others say it was just a good defense lawyer doing a good job for his client.
Question from niklin: Is Johnny Cochran involved in the case at all?
Diane Dimond: I keep asking Johnnie Cochran that and he keeps saying, "NONot in a legal sense" but he does say that he talks to Michael Jackson and gives him advice.
Question from kiara: Where are Michael Jackson's children now? What is the news on Gloria claim against Michael Jackson?
Diane Dimond: My best information is that the children are not in California. That Michael Jackson is being advised that if the children return to the States child protective services will try to see them if they're okay. As to there exact whereabouts I don't know.
Question from soccermom: Diane - where does MJ get the money for this high lifestyle since his sales in the US aren't that high?
Diane Dimond: Michael Jackson has millions of dollars invested all over the world. He has great financial advisors. He owns several music catalogues--including many of the Beatles songs. He gets $34 million a year just from the Beatles. His advisors told me on Monday that he has no financial worries at all.
Question from JudgeGuilty: Would you like to do an interview with Michael?
Question from JudgeGuilty: What would you ask him if you had ONE question?
Diane Dimond: Yes I would. I would ask him -- why he keeps saying that sleeping with young boys in his room is okay, doesn't he realize society doesn't think it's okay?
Question from berrygrrl: Diane, is it true MJ is trying to get Geragos to drop Scott Peterson as a client to devote more time to his case?
Diane Dimond: I have no way of knowing that.
Question from kiara: Is the Jackson camp worried that Geragos' attention might be diverted due to Scott?
Diane Dimond: They might be. But Geragos seems to be the one in charge.
Question from KRTbird: What is the latest on Debbie Rowe. Could she try to get custody of her children?
Diane Dimond: That all depends on whether she signed away her parental rights. She's allowed the children to live with her ex-husband but if she still has parental rights she could go into court and try to get custody.
Question from nurse31: Diane is it true that Debbie Rowe is unhappy with MJ and is talking with the prosecution?
Diane Dimond: Not that I know of. Debbie Rowe who is usually very reclusive was seen in a very public place this week with two of Jackson's top business associates. Sources say she might have been trying to send Michael a message that she's unhappy. Some reports say she's worried about the Nation of Islam's participation in his and the children's life.
Question from jazzy: Diane, if these charges are bound over for trial, do you think there will be a change of venue motion?
Diane Dimond: Without a doubt. The question is whether the judge will grant it. Is there anywhere Michael Jackson could go for trial where he isn't known?
Question from conner: Is this hearing going to be televised?
Diane Dimond: Court TV has asked that cameras be allowed in the courtroom. They are not for tomorrow's arraignment. And because of that it seems doubtful that the judge will allow it for the actual trial. Thank you, folks. I've got to go.
Court TV Host: Thanks, Diane, I know you've got to run for your live shot...we'll see you on TV!
