Michael Colono, 18, seen here with girlfriend Cindy Guzman and their daughter, was a cook in a Cambridge restaurant. He had recently earned his GED and was trying to put his life on track after brushes with the law as a juvenile. In the early morning hours of April 12, 2003, his dreams for a better life perished in a deadly street fight.
