IN THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE SIXTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT OF FLORIDA, IN AND FOR PINELLAS COUNTY

The Grand Jurors of the State of Florida, impaneled and sworn to inquire and true charge make in and for the body of the County of Pinellas, upon their oath do charge that

in the County of Pinellas and State of Florida, on the 3rd day of April, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine, in the County and State aforesaid unlawfully, by an act imminently dangerous to another, and evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life, but without a premeditated design to effect the death of any particular individual, did kill one Ashley Mance, by shooting the said Ashley Mance with a firearm, to-wit: a semi-automatic firearm and its high capacity detachable box magazine; an in the commission thereof evidenced prejudice based on the race, color, or ethnicity of said Ashley Mance; contrary to Chapter 782.04(2)/775.085, Florida Statutes, and against the peace and dignity of the State of Florida. Grand Jurors of the State of Florida, impaneled and sworn to inquire and true charge make in and for the body of the County of Pinellas, upon their oath do charge that JESSY JOE ROTEN in the County of Pinellas and State of Florida, on the 3rd day of April, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine, in the County and State aforesaid, unlawfully, by an act imminently dangerous to another, and evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life, but without a premeditated design to effect the death of any particular individual, did attempt to kill one Aleesha Mance, a human being, by shooting the said Aleesha Mance with a firearm, to-wit: a semi-automatic firearm and its high capacity detachable box magazine; an in the commission thereof evidenced prejudice based on the race, color, or ethnicity of said Aleesha Mance; contrary to Chapter 782.04(2)/775.085, Florida Statutes, and against the peace and dignity of the State of Florida.[L4]
