* Presence or absence of 1.2 Allele cannot be confirmed due to the limitations of the system.

Please refer to the previous report issued on January 9, 1997.

Based on the PCR results, the DNA types detected in item(s) #3 (wood chip) is a mixture. No portion of DNA originated from Marilyn Sheppard or Sam Sheppard. Richard Eberling being 4.1 homozygous at DQAL Locus cannot be excluded as a part donor of the DNA detected in Item #3. However, Richard Eberling is not the contributor of 1.1, 2 and 3 alleles.

Based an the PCR results, the DNA types detected in Item(s) b-3-b-I (bloodstain from Sam Sheppard's trousers) is a mixture. No portion of DNA originated from Marilyn Sheppard or Sam Sheppard. Richard Eberling cannot be excluded as a partial contributor of the DNA detected in Item #b-3-b-1. However, Richard Eberting is not the contributor of 2, 3 and 1.2 alleles.

Based on the PCR results, the DNA types detected in ltem(s) 1-C (stair, from the bedroom closet) is a mixture, This mixture is consistent with having originated from Marilyn Sheppard and Richard Eberling. Richard Eberling cannot be excluded as a partial contributor of the DNA present in Item #lC. No conclusion can be drawn to the presence or absence of Sam Sheppard's DNA in the mixture due to the limitations of the system.

Based on Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) results, the DNA detected in Item #A-59-2 (vaginal smear) sperm fraction is a mixture. Richard Eberling being a 4.1 homozygous at DQAI Locus cannot be excluded as the part donor of the DNA present in the sperm fraction in the vaginal smear. However, he is not the contributor of 1.2, 2 and 3 alleles. Sam Sheppard is excluded as a partial contributor to the DNA present on this item.

Based on Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) results, the D NA detected in item #A-59-1 (vaginal smear) sperm fraction is a mixture. Richard Eberling being a 4.1 homozygous at DQAL Locus cannot be excluded as the part donor of the DNA present in the sperm fraction in the vaginal smear. However, he is not the contributor of 1.1, 1.3, 2 and 3 alieles. If alleles 1.1, 1.3 originated from Marilyn Sheppard, then alleles 2 and 3 are foreign to Richard Eberling and Marilyn Sheppard. No conclusion can be drawn to the exclusion or inclusion of Sam Sheppard's DNA due to the limitations of the system.
