The Counts Against Kaczynski

Theodore Kaczynski was indicted on June 18, 1996 by a grand jury in Sacramento, California for actions resulting in two deaths in California and two injuries, one in California and one in Connecticut.

He was also indicted on three counts in the death of advertising executive Thomas Mosser by a grand jury in Newark, New Jersey. He will be tried separately on those counts.
