FL v. Amanda Lewis (2008)
A mother of two is charged with the murder of her 7-year-old daughter who drowned in a pool in Esto, Florida. The incident appeared to be an accident until the girl's then 6-year-old half-brother testified that his mother committed the brutal act. Amanda Lewis, 29, faces a sentence of life in prison without parole. A four-day trial took the jury only two hours to make their decision.
