The Daytona Beach Police Department said Bell was considered “missing and endangered” at the time the first alert was shared. Law enforcement made contact with Bell nearly four hours later.

Authorities offered no further details on the circumstances.

Bell, 36, was believed to be traveling in a 2022 grey BMW and his “last known location (was) potentially the area of Mainland High School” on Wednesday, April 12, just before 9 p.m.

In 2021, Bell pleaded guilty to multiple charges in Ohio relating to a teen whom he met online and attended his concerts when she was 15, reported The Associated Press.

He was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to serve 200 hours of community service.

Bell began acting as a child, but was catapulted to stardom as a teen with Nickelodeon’s “The Amanda Show” and later “Drake & Josh,” which debuted on the channel in January 2004. The final episode aired in September 2007. Bell and co-star Josh Peck also starred in two “Drake & Josh” movies.
