KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Scripps News Kansas City) — A Kansas City man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility for parole in the death of his pregnant girlfriend.
Devonte Wash, 30, was convicted of the 2018 killing in May.
Wash shot and killed Ashley Harlan, 23, in an Olathe townhouse. Her body was found Jan. 30, 2018.
Harlan was murdered the same day she was set to learn the sex of her baby.
