Sheldon “Timothy” Herrington Jr. is charged with the murder of missing Ole Miss student Jimmie “Jay” Lee III, whose body has never been found. Lee was a well-known member of the campus LGBTQ+ community. Police believe Lee and Herrington had a sexual encounter prior to Lee’s death.
