Secrets of Track Meet Stabbing Exposed in Murder Trial
Teen witnesses in the Karmelo Anthony murder trial gave differing accounts of the confrontation that preceded the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, but all agreed the violence erupted suddenly after Anthony was repeatedly asked to leave another school's tent at a Texas track meet. While witnesses disagreed on exactly how Metcalf made contact with Anthony, they all testified that Anthony pulled a knife and stabbed Metcalf in the chest, inflicting a wound that medical experts said was unsurvivable. Anthony, who claims he acted in self-defense, allegedly told police after his arrest, “I did it. He put his hands on me.” Court TV’s Vinnie Politan Investigates. MORE
