FL v. FORTNER (2010)
Richard Fortner is on trial for the October 23, 2008, killing of Chris Kachnik. During a “friendly” game of cards among a group of seniors at the Cocoa Beach home of the defendant, an altercation ensued after Fortner accused Kachnik of cheating. During the course of the altercation, Fortner ended up shooting and killing Kachnik.
