MI v. KEVORKIAN (1999)
Dr. Jack Kevorkian, dubbed 'Dr. Death,' is on trial for the assisted suicide of 52-year-old Thomas Youk. Kevorkian videotaped himself injecting Youk with a fatal dose of chemicals at his consent. Youk was in the advance stages of Lou Gehrig's disease, or ALS. Kevorkian is acting as his own lawyer.
