MI v. KING (1992)

Ex-police officer and criminal justice instructor Bradford King is accused of killing his wife, TV anchorwoman Diane Newton King. Bradford claims he came back from a walk in the woods to find his wife’s body outside her car. She had reportedly been getting threatening phone calls and letters in the months prior to her death from an obsessed admirer. Prosecutors say the calls were a diversion and that the admirer may not exist.
