MO v. RIOS (2008)

Police officer Steven Rios is accused of brutally murdering University of Missouri student Jesse Valencia, with whom the married defendant was allegedly having a homosexual affair with. A jury found Rios guilty in 2005, however his conviction was tossed after a judge ruled hearsay was admitted into evidence during his first trial.
