Freda "Susie" Mowbray is accused of murdering her husband Bill to collect $1.8 million in insurance benefits. During her first trial in 1988, she was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. She was granted a retrial after it was discovered prosecutors had withheld blood evidence that contradicted their murder theory.
