March 31, 2021

Court TV is the only network with our own cameras in the courtroom, providing live, gavel-to-gavel coverage of Minnesota v. Derek Chauvin from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET.

Court TV  is devoted to in-depth legal reporting and expert analysis of the nation’s most important and compelling trials.

Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter for the death of George Floyd. Three other officers facing charges will be tried separately.

Floyd, 46, was arrested for allegedly using a counterfeit $20 bill at a grocery store. Cell phone video capturing Chauvin pressing his knee into Floyd’s neck sparked a national movement around the world, making his words, “I Can’t Breathe” a part of U.S. history.

Court TV’s on-air team of anchors, legal correspondents and veteran crime and justice journalists lead the analysis of the trial.
