Judge Declares Mistrial in Plotting Parents Murder Trial
After deliberating for about 4.5 hours, a mistrial has been declared in Mississippi v. Jeffrey Spence. The jury announced they're deadlocked 6 to 6. For now, Spence will remain in custody. A new trial date is expected to be set for 2026. (9/29/25)
