GA v. SULLIVAN (2006)

Millionaire investor James Sullivan is accused in the murder-for-hire plot of his wife. Lita Sullivan was fatally shot in her doorway by a gunman posing as a flower deliveryman on January 16, 1987. She was due to attend a crucial hearing in their acrimonious divorce that same day. James was indicted on state charges for Lita’s death in 1998, when the triggerman’s ex-girlfriend came forward with information about the killing. He was apprehended in Thailand in 2002, following a tip from a viewer of “America’s Most Wanted.” He was ultimately extradited to the U.S. in 2004.
