Accused Long Island Serial Killer Rex Heuermann Loses Major Bids in Court

In a blow to Rex Heuermann's defense, Judge Timothy Mazzei ruled the Gilgo Beach murders suspect will face one trial for all 7 murder charges rather than break up the cases. The judge also said high-tech DNA evidence can be used at trial. (9/23/25)
