James Prokopovitz is accused of murdering his wife so he could reconnect with an old flame. 59-year-old Victoria Prokopovitz was reported missing April 26, 2013. Her body has never been found. Prosecutors allege James killed Victoria to have an affair with his old girlfriend, Kathy Friday. The defense argues Victoria committed suicide.
