  • LUCIO ALEMAN, JR.
    photo Lucio Aleman, 33, left behind a wife and two children. He graduated from Texas A & I University and was the safety coordinator and civil rights officer for the Federal Highway Administration. His hobbies included drawing and listening to jazz.

    TERESA ALEXANDER
    photo Teresa Alexander, 33, was the married mother of two children. She was a nurse’s assistant for the Baptist Medical Center and she was also a pool supervisor at the Marriott Hotel. She worked two jobs so that her children could attend Catholic School.

    RICHARD A. ALLEN
    photo Richard A. Allen, 46, left behind a daughter. The Vietnam veteran was a football fan who favored the Dallas Cowboys. He worked for 22 years as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration.

    TED ALLEN
    photo Ted Allen, 48, of Norman, was a husband and father of six children. He was an economic development specialist for the Community Planning and Development Division. Allen was an avid gardener and had a 1991 white Chevy pickup, which he referred to as the “Shrine.”

    BAYLEE ALMON
    photo Baylee Almon, 1 year 1 day, attended America’s Kids and kissed the video camera on the many occasions when her family members tried to tape her. She had just started to walk and to say, “Mama.” A Pulitzer-prize winning photograph of a firefighter holding her lifeless body became a symbol of the horror of the bombing.

    DIANE ALTHOUSE
    photo Diane Althouse, 45, of Edmond, had two children and a granddaughter. She was a very spiritual woman and was a program support assistant for the Office of Housing. She had bought a new Fiat Spider the night before the bombing.

    PAMELA CLEVELAND ARGO
    photo Pamela Cleveland Argo, 36, was a data entry specialist for the Presbyterian Hospital and moonlighted for a catering business. She had seen much of the world with family and friends and left behind two dogs and three cats. She delivered meals to the homeless and worked for the AIDS foundation.

    SANDY AVERY
    photo Sandy Avery, 36, of Midwest City, was a development clerk at the Social Security Administration. She played eleven instruments including the piano and cello and she took sign language classes three nights a week.

    PETER AVILLANOZA
    photo Peter Avillanoza, 56, was a husband, father of three, and stepfather of seven children. He had fourteen grandchildren and was the supervisory Equal Opportunity specialist for the Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Division. He played the keyboard, drums and clarinet and he sang and composed Hawaiian music.

    CALVIN AND PEOLA BATTLE
    photo Calvin, 62, and Peola, 56, Battle were parents of four. At the time of the explosion, both were at the Social Security's disability benefits office where Calvin, who retired on disability in 1993 after 30 years as a machinist, had a doctor's appointment. The couple enjoyed Las Vegas, an annual vacation destination.

    DANIELLE BELL
    photo Danielle Bell, 15 months, was a daughter and granddaughter. She had a penchant for dancing gigs to country music, an appreciation of good hygiene, and love of animals, especially her grandmother's black poodle.

    OLETA BIDDY
    photo Oleta Biddy, 54, was a wife of 34 years, mother of one and grandmother of two. She was a claims representative for the Social Security Administration, who rarely missed a day in 21 years on the job. She also spent time minding her church's nursery and was remembered by her grandson as a great bath-giver.

    SHELLY BLAND
    photo Shelly Bland, 25, was a wife, mother, daughter and sister. She worked as an asset forfeiture specialist for the Social Security Administration. The oldest of three sisters, Bland went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to her job as a mother.

    ANDREA BLANTON
    Andrea Blanton was a wife and a clerk at the Housing and Urban Development Administration's housing office. Blanton, who enjoyed outdoor yard decoration, was remembered as a very private but nonetheless fun-loving person.

    OLEN BLOOMER
    photo Olen Bloomer, 61, was a father of one, stepfather of two, grandfather of five, and great-grandfather of one. Known for his perpetual grin and happy-go-lucky demeanor, Bloomer, whose grandchildren called him "Big Dad," was a retired Air Force officer who pursued a second career as a budget assistant for the Agriculture Department and also loved fishing and bird-watching.

    LOLA BOLDEN
    photo Sgt. Lola Bolden, 40, was a daughter, mother of two, and 16-year Armed Services veteran. She had been on the job at U. S. Army Recruiting Battalion for less than six months at the time of the explosion. A cyclist and high school track fan who went to the mall to exercise not shop, Bolden loved yellow roses and was a stickler about getting her sons to finish their homework.

    JAMES BOLES
    photo James Boles, 50, was a husband and father of two. The Miss. Native and Army veteran worked as an administrative officer for the U.S. Agriculture Department. He began what became a highly distinguished career as a member of a task force dealing with disease outbreaks among swine in the swamps of North Carolina and Virginia, earning numerous awards and citations along the way. His son remembers him as an outstanding fun-loving father who takes care of his family.

    MARK BOLTE
    photo Mark Bolte, 28, was a son and brother who was employed by the Federal Highway Administration as an environmental specialist. At 6 foot, 4 inches, Bolte came across at work as big caring teddy bear constantly concerned about his employees' well being. He was an avid golfer and Arkansas Razorbacks fan.

    CASSANDRA BOOKER
    photo Cassandra Booker, 25, was the mother of four and died while applying for Social Security cards on behalf of her twins. An outgoing woman, Booker studied business at Platt College and spent her leisure time styling hair and playing with her children.

    CAROL BOWERS
    photo Carol Bowers, 53, was a wife and the mother of one who had worked as an operations supervisor at the Social Security Administration for 33 years. A bubbly personality fond of oil painting, Bowers enjoyed spending sunny afternoons cruising the streets with her husband in their 1986 metallic red Corvette coupe.
